I was going to say McDonnell for 2015 so far (thinking Kameda x2) before seeing the judging period.

    Even so, I say McDonnell.

Chacon in his next bout drew with Roberto Sosa (who boasts a W over Zolani Tete and just challenged Kazuto Ioka for the WBA flyweight title - unsuccessfully, but went the distance)

Actually, tight between McDonell and DeGale.

DeGale and Brook's title wins in the US put them on a par and above everyone else IMO. Brook's activity gives him the nod over DeGale.

I was thinking McDonnell before I noticed the second Kameda win didn't count.

Brook for his Porter performance however wouldn't have argued had McDonnell or Degale won it.

hmm. Don't want to downplay what McDonnell has done, but is an interim/regular belt the same as winning a legit title like the IBF? On the other fighter's home soil?

He would've won the WBO belt from Kameda but they made Kameda vacate it.

Plus is the Super Champ- Payano, really better than McDonnell?

Maybe not but Tomoki is a better win than Dirrell or Porter.

Brook marginally, that is just because I feel that Porter is the best win that anyone had, McDonnell would have got it had he had the two Kameda wins in that period.

Agreed, even though I think Porter is a bit overrated, at the same time Jo Jo Dan and Frankie Gavin are underrated and Brook beat them in very impressive fashion.

Jo Jo Dan and Frankie Gavin underrated?? Neither had no business anywhere near a world title fight.
