Who has Chaves EVER beaten worth a toss? He's come up short EVERY TIME he's stepped up.

I'd imagine he was saying that Gavin should have fought at lightweight as he clearly isn't a natural welter. It's a commonly held opinion that Gavin has fought at too high a weight throughout his career and if he'd been more dedicated could have made 135/140.

Jury is still out for me. I give him a lot of respect the way he handled himself on the Porter fight - went overseas, stick to a game plan and all that.

I didn't have a problem with his first defences either. He had been very inactive and then time out with the stabbing - didn't begrudge him getting a few quid in the bank but it has been going on too long now.

Hopefully he makes a statement against Chaves, then follows with big, proper fights

He looked a real handful for six rounds against Thurman.

I just find it funny that khan thinks he can dictate terms to a world champion. The deluded fool is getting ktfo soon if he is serious about fighting pac, garcia or brook.he has been fighting featherfisted or ageing opponents for the majority of his career but brook needs to step up the irony is blatent. I agree brooks' resume needs improving and chaves will actually be a step in the righ direction but khan needs to shut the **** up

    Don't take the p***.

Khan's opponents recently it have been a total p***take.

Khans best win in well over 3 years is Alexander, Brooks is Porter.
Porter had already beaten Alexander by the time Khan got brave enough to fight him.

We havent seen enough of Brook. In a 35 fight career spanning 10+ years that sounds like a strange thing to say but I have absolutely no idea how he will do against elite opposition. Hes only fought one good upper tier fighter and that fight was complete trash. He won, but it was an extremely close fight and and an ugly affair. Porter more to blame than Brook I suppose, but IMO the jury is still out on Brook.
