I havent a clue myself - but lots of people claim to make a killing on the 'crazy' amateur odds in big championchips - so I'm looking forward to some good tips from all the knowledgeable punters on here who follow the amateur game in detail.

Not too sure about that but id imagine they would wait untill close to the date to buy tickets/book hotels etc,
No opponent for CEJ but paddy powers have odds on his fight with spike for that date,They have Junior a big favourite by the way,

Conlon will be a pro world champ no doubt,
Ward should be but I don't think he will,he couldn't knuckle for apb with the Irish hp team,he will not do it with a pro trainer and manager that dont care if he is fully committed or not.

 

Lets hope Ward does the right thing here. Surely Ward has enough sense to look at the likes of Darren Sutherland and Nevin and realise that the pro game isnt for everyone? If he had sense....then again if a horse had two humps it'd be a camel.....:|

they have Joe Joyce as favourite at 6/4 and Medzhidov at 3/1

at 91kg they have the Ukrainian Manukian at 6/1 and don't even have odds for tishchenko

at 81kg mammadov is 5/2 and ward only 3/1 , I don't rate mammadov that highly

at 75kg Lopez and Khaukov are joint favorites at 7/4 when in reality alimkunaly and the Uzbek fighter are the favourite and there not even listed

69kg they have the azeri baghirov as favourite wdf, yelusinenov is the stand out by a mile and they don't even have him listed

 

So basically I should put a few quid on the guys wirh the unpronouncable names? :thumbsup

its just funny that paddy power seem to miss out on some the medal favorites
