    im going to be generous and say the 10th will be the final round. then agains Lucas Matthysse seems to be cursed in championship fights :lol:

    You got it right but for some reason, I think that Imam will be his first duck. He's talking past him already. He doesn't even mention his name. It's Pac and Garcia, and anybody else but no mention of Amir.

    Get real people. Amir Imam is not ready for Lucas. He needs at least two more fights. And It's ridiculous to call Matthysse wanting to chase the biggest payday of his career a duck. Or avenge his loss for that matter.

    I'd be very surprised if Matthysse knows who Imam is...

    That's the reason he's not mentioning him as a possible future opponent...

    Guy probably has a life outside boxing and doesn't know every possible fighter out there.

    Agreed. Matthysse will knock him out like he did to Lamont Peterson, who has a similar style to Postol's.

    He doesn't, he said as much in a Ring interview when asked about the top 10 140'lbers. It's like you said, alot of fighters don't take the time to check up on other boxers unless they're directly in their crosshairs. Especially so for a newcomer like Imam who hasn't yet stepped up to that level to be talked about in the same sentence as Lucas, Lamont, Terrance etc. he still has some ways off.

    Well, I dont agree with that part saying that postol is a good boxer. He's a f*** bum. Slow, predictible and with no footwork nor power. He has all those victories because decoding really really really tall guys is one of the hardest tasks in boxing, so he has exploited that, getting big success with few talent. But good boxers can decode this problem easily. Lucas is not one of my favourites, but he's good enought to beat the H++l out of this bum.
