This would be Ali in a physical contest with foreman.....hint...Ali's the one on his knees...........:noclue
As far as good boxers, Abe Simon was supposedly re**** strong. Does anyone remember the champion powerlifter from the 1950's who tried boxing only to get KO'd in his 3rd or 4th fight?
Finnish heavyweight Tony Halme aka Ludvig Borga had a lot of physical strength. Halme started with weight training and made a career as a professional wrestler. He started boxing at the age of 32. This content is protected
A better grappler, not stronger. Ali was stronger than he looked, but only if you define "stronger" as more able to apply force in this situation was he stronger. He was better at using leverage, angles & timing than Foreman. Close enough in strength & weight that since his movements were somewhat more efficient, he could get the better of Foreman.
You can see it on film. Foreman gets man handled do you have anything on film to suggest Foreman was stronger? You can say “grappling skills and leverages” But I have to ask did they enter a weightlifting contest I’m unaware of to show us who can lift more weight? You seem very confident Foreman is stronger but the only evidence is in Ali’s favour…
