Eddie Hearn signings

As a boxing viewer, Frankie Gavin the worst and most boring by a mile.

No chance of any improvement either.

 

His best signings were Barker (as he was the first to sign a promotional contract with him and that lead Froch and Brook to sign very soon after) and AJ, Brook, and Froch. Froch is by far and away his top earner, though AJ could surpass that. Worst is hard to say depends on who he has lost most money on, without knowing ins and outs cant really say. Performance wise Burns Macklin are right up there when you look at how much better both were earlier in career before they joined him.

 

Tom Stalker was a horrendous signing, his best is Froch at present time and will probably end up being AJ. Froch has made him a load of money and AJ will do the same.

 

I would have said that Stalker was a worse signing for Boxnation tbh, Eddie realised early on that Stalker wasn't adapting and let his contract run down. At that time people said it was a mistake letting him go but it has been proved that he was probably right.

 

Think a lot of people predicted pre Stalkers debut he wouldn't do great in the pros with his style and age. See tbh we don't know what kind of loss Ed has made on fighters so hard to say what his definite worst would be.

 

Agreed, 'Funtime' was horrendous in terms of entertainment for the fans but for Eddie himself he's proved very useful.
He was a cheap, easy opponent for a Brook PPV plus Eddie is now throwing him in with one or his promising young fighters in Eggington to get bashed up.

 

Best - selby, warrington, mcdonnell

Worst - macklin & eric ochieng, wadi camacho, darren hamilton, ryan taylor, ricky boylan, .. and loads of other **** london fighters

 

Worst signing by a mile has to be Anthony Joshua - Sky and Matchroom have invested obscene amounts into building a fraud and its all going to end in tears when he gets destroyed by Dillian Whyte on Dec 12th.

That was a nice daydream you had, maybe AJ will prive to be a fraud like many other heavily tipped heavywright prospects, however Whyte aint thr man to do it as Whyte is a bum, hes really awful have you even seen him fight lol.

 

Hearn doesn't sign enough celtic fighters, northern iteland are churning out talent after talent inbthe amateurs but Hearn continues to ignore them whilst signing London bums like Isaac Chamberlain and Ricky Boylan.
