    Bernard likes to talk.

He would never have fought Haye. He was just massaging his ego.

Wladimir Klitschko's 'speed' didn't really seem present in rounds 7-12 vs Jennings.

All I saw was an old man look tired, miss a lot, and get deducted points for holding.

    there was no speed.

    uncletermite,

Again, your entitled to your own opinion. But how on earth would Ali have been custom made for Wlad?

Speed wouldn't have been a factor?

    What are you talking about?

What do you mean, whether Wlad was faster or not? There's no debate as to who was faster.

You think all he'd have needed was his 1-2 combos?

Wlad's jab would have messed him up?

What, you're assuming that Ali would have just been there open to being hit?

Ali would have been up on his toes, dancing, circling, jumping in and out of range, firing off the jab, trying to lure Wlad in, trying to make him off balance etc.

Ali's speed would have caused Wlad a world of trouble. You're blinded if you think otherwise.

Ali's footwork, reflexes and his blazing hand speed, would have troubled any HW in history.

Then there's also the psychological aspect of things to consider. I could certainly envisage Ali getting to him mentally.

It's okay saying that Ali fought nobody like Wlad, but who on earth as Wlad fought like a 25 year old Ali?

That's a fair assesment there. I've no arguments.

The hard truth is Ali was tagged in EVERY fight by slower guys /less skilled guys than Wald...if you cant see that plus everything else I stated you are an Ali fan not a boxing fan...I have neither gain...if so I would say say ali would beat him regardless of Wlads status, hes simply out done in wevery category ,andf I disagree with the speed it only takes the one punch landed first to dictate ther actual fight, thats Wlad speciallyt not alis who liked slow moving punchers...its not practical!! Wlad doenst need to beat ali you have that backwards!

Wlad woul be cut to shreds and retired by Ali and Termite would cry himself to sleep at night because one of his boyfriends had been battered!

Have to laugh at haters using jennings as a reason Wlad is not quick anymore, he won the fight get over it. Ali was younger when he was struggling and losing against little Leon Spinks.

And the hard truth is, that Wlad was also tagged by slower/less skilled guys than Ali.

He struggled with David Haye's movement, who was the same size as Ali, but who was static in comparison. He had Haye trapped against the ropes, but he was so cautious, he didn't land any huge shots.

Yet here you are, trying to tell me that Wlad would have beaten Ali with absolute ease, and that Ali's speed wouldn't have been a factor.

    It's absolutely ridiculous.

Wlad has hardly taking any much punishment.."thats why hes still fighting" Alis speed and Wlads are of not significance for one the speed itself and two Wlad has better distance and timing. The POWER however is the MAJOR factor here, and its a vastly different level.Ali has LOST to jabbers like Norton "TWICE",rocked by left hookers,Frazier at 5'11 beat him "TWICE as far as im concerned" and even Cooper of 180 pounds planted him with a LEFT hook,i f we were to play the look who would lose game, ali still loses here. Ali would be one of his easier fights style wise. No 210 pound guy is beating Wlad...where is the proof? Even if ali had legit punching power of the modern HW he would find it difficult,he didn't even have that in his own era.

When Ali lost to Norton.....I don't have to prove anything,Wlad has beat tall jabbers before, some taller than him. it all comes down to the jab, even little slow 6'0 200 pound folley out jabbed ali the first 2 rounds ,its a a no brainer who wins this. alis stand upright ,lean back style would get his clock cleaned doing that with Wlad and would eat a left hook within the first 3 rounds and that would be Frazier 3.0 .

DaVaryll Williamson had Wlad on ***** street by doing a cheap impression of Ali, only one man has the stylistical advantage and it's not Wlad.

He does beat 70's Ali however.
