I always considered that fight to be a crowning achievement of Lewis' career and never expected a rematch to come to fruition.

Imagine if Holmes beat Tyson, or Louis beat Marciano, or Ali beat Holmes ... that's basically the magnitude of the victory. Lewis like every other great before was in with a young contender who went on to dominate the division in his stead...history shows us that these fights always end up being a "passing the torch" type of moment, but not this one. It only shows how ****ing great Lewis was.

That's exactly what happened and Klitschko made his reputation on that loss to Lewis. Nothing he did before or after make him deserve all the outlandish claimsmade by his fanboys.

Smart people certainly knew who the Klitschkos were before the Lewis fight in June 2003...Both brothers had been WBO champs and just three months before in March, Wlad, who had been something like 40-1 at the time and who was being built up as the next big threat to Lewis, had been shockingly demolished by Sanders to lose his WBO title! Vitali the elder brother then took the Lewis fight...

    So when I was around 30 in 2002 I wasn't old enough?

I just posted an article with Stewards EXACT words in his Lewis plans to fight at least 2 more times after Vitali....again your made up world doesn't override actual FACTS! Not to mention he AVOIDED Vitali 4 times prior to this..One of them is even in the article I posted and it even referances Steward in saying he didn't take a fight with him at one point..If we went on whos smarter older or younger ones on here ,there would be MANY stupid older guys on here right now, believe me:patsch

I don't think the score had as much to do with Lewis retiring as did his over all performance. I watched Lewis since he was in the Olympics, and THAT version of Lewis never existed prior to this fight. He was never that uncoordinated. I think it was the fact he knew that he was a shallow of himself that lead to his retirement, more than what the actual score was. But they are connected, in the sense had he been the Lewis of old the score would have been different.

yup, no chance i just find it sad that a 40+ year old man can't accept reality, posts absolute nonsense, insults people for saying the truth and can't have a conversation about boxing without sounding like a teenager(at best), no chance of that at all.

if you are really 40 years old then maybe you should be concerned that someone who is genuinley 30, and honestly couldn't give a **** about patriotism, thinks you are actually a racist mentally handicapped teenager with anger issues. my guess is you are unemployable due to being an angry thick **** but can't accept reality so blame blacks for taking your jobs.

**** off you sad blind fool, you don't know a ****ing thing about boxing.

p.s; you won't find many other examples of me talking to people like this, because if someone is genuinely interested in boxing we can talk however much our views oppose each other. you have no interest in boxing, just a sad, racially motivated, 'view' on a fight everyone with eyes can see lewis won by tko6. (i just realised why that became a thing)

if you want to believe that nonsense about nothing is the same as the truth about you, then go for it, but everyone would prefer if you did it elsewhere.

if you want to go the 'you never did it' route then please link to your boxrec page.

You never stepping foot in a actual boxing gym has nothing to with you making accusations of who did what or knows what or a boxing rec page..You assume I don't know about the sport yet claim FALSE allegations of what I haven't done or know, with added stupidity with nothing on nothing....rest assured my sparing parnters are HW's and some have been on national t.v...The thread isn't even about who won the first fight its who was up on the scorecard before it ended...for the FIRST time I am wrong, you are indeed not a very smart one after all..... :smooch

i never claimed to be smart, just that you are a massive kunt and incapable of honest thought when it comes to tko6

i never made a comment on the thread title either, imo if the fight was the same but badly scored then lewis would have still retired, if he beat vitali easily then he would have had at least one more fight (not vs vitali, who he just beat easily and not vs wlad who was rebuilding from his own stoppage loss).

so neither of us can prove we have any practical experience? at least i'm honest about it (yes ive been in a gym, no i never had an actual match either, mum didn't like it and i preferred doing bmx, which is free and you could smoke)

Then why are you posting if you are not posting on the thread title/ subject other than ME AGAIN?

and no...you didn't even read my post otherwise you wouldn't have posted in the first place because it would be contradictaory to Stewards own words.....are you Lewis? Lewis is that you ?

i posted in the thread because i wanted to, that's what a public forum is for, if i want to go into a thread and list my top 5 films then i can do that too

well done, you have a quote from the trainer about his plans. so what? you never changed a plan in your life? probably not because you're too thick to make one in the first place.

why ignore quotes that don't support your argument?(janitor posted one and your response was to use capitals and smilies) - because you have no objectivity, just a keyboard, a tiny deformed brain and an erection for the klit brothers.

What quotes are you referring to you imbecile?

This one? "Lennox Lewis will fight both the Klitschko brothers after his rematch with
    This content is protected
and then retire", his trainer Emanuel Steward said yesterday
