Do you think Naz improved under Emmanuel Steward or do you think he was more effective under Brendan Ingle. I just watched a few of his old fights, I have to say he actually looked more reckless under Steward, far easier to hit.
Agreed it no coincidence that once he stopped doing the core fundamentals that made him get to the top-his peformance dropped.
He was at his very best against Belcastro and Robinson, and we saw flashes against Badillo when he decided to train hard again for a few months before. Elusive, combinations... it went.
I agree Billy, Steward is a great trainer but I don't think he added any value to Naz, he made him worst
You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make it drink. Steward has forgot more about the game than most will ever know, but i'm sure most of what he told Naz fell on deaf ears. Hameds ego, and his family's paranoia and greed were his downfall. Wasted talent.
