Is it Terry Flanagan after his outstanding perfomance tonight... destroying yet another glass jawed Yank... or is it Linares? or another one of the many top brits who's country seem to dominate this division
Flanny definitely up there. Magdaleno been waiting for this bum to get exposed! he has no power and fights like he can bang/crack which is always a recipe for disaster.
Its between Flanagan and Campbell. UK now have the best head to head fighter in a large number of divisions. For example- Heavyweight (Anthony Joshua MBE), Super Middleweight (James DeGale MBE), Jr Middleweight (Liam Smith), Welterweight (The Special One), Jr Welterweight (Jack Catterall), Lightweight (Flanagan or Campbell MBE), Jr Lightweight (Stephen Smith), Featherweight (Lee Selby), Jr Featherweight (Carl Frampton) and Batamweight (Jamie McDonnell)
Interesting thread. I'd say my top two would be.. Zlaticanan - very good southpaw, great power, decent jaw. Flanagan - very powerful and destructive. Linares has the best record but has a shaky mandible and his fights when against solid opposition are always a rollercoaster like his recent win against Mitchell, which to be fair he did very well in. Shafikov is good but can be outboxed, and will most likely lose to Bathelemy. Darleys Perez is average, i mean he's 'good' and has decent stamina, but was almost outboxed by Crolla, who again is 'good' but not world class. Turbo could certainly beat most of those fighters, barring perhaps Luke Campbell who is a monster at the weight, or Zlat who is also very heavy handed. Torn between Zlat/Flan
Disgusted by the lack of respect for Masayoshi Nakatani! The Ioka kid is waiting for a chance to smash the likes of Flanagan, Crolla and Linares...from those listed DZ.
lol the Cumbrian english farmer with a strange Japanese fetish strikes again! Who the hell is he? lol Japanese fighters above super featherweight are all completely useless
