Liam was good when he found his range, strong lad with power, as with everyone else he needs to find some world class moves. Now Flanagen is a world class fighter, and could be world champ for a long time to come ( class act )
That was obviosly the plan beefy head in his head but i was suprised when i was watching him last night. I like beefy best out of the bros i know hes not a true world lvl operater yet but hes done well with the style he brings but i was screaming my head off at him last night he could of got the same win in better style imo
Thought Smith was excellent ! Fighting a fella who was 6'1 with decent hand and foot speed and a good change of direction. As soon as he managed to close the distance he was snapping Thompsons head back with the jab and hurting him to body and head with good regularity up until the stoppage. Very good performance. Terry Flanagan was in the harder fight according to everyone I heard talking about it, he was punch perfect, looked powerful and accurate. That long uppercut he hit Magdaleno with was such a classy shot. Two more Brit world champs and British boxing is flying atm
Of course Liam becoming a world champion is good for British boxing, but looking at Thompson he was simply terrible. The guy had no defence, back on the ropes, it was just a matter of time before he got knocked out.
