I'd like to see a tough, short fight, where Lemieux knocks GGG down with a huge shot, but GGG gets up and finishes him off. A 3 round slugfest.

I think only in Golovkin's case can fights against other titlists be viewed as mismatches or can crushing.

Nope, they are only saying that they are going there. Ward can't fight Haymon fighters, Beterbiev, Stevenson and Fonfara and he is afraid of Kovalev even more than of Golovkin. He will be fighting B and C level LHWs and then retire.

As a big Golovkin fan i won't give him too much credit either
It would be a big win nothing more

Lemieux can punch but he isn't anything special. I think Murray is a better fighter

More important is that a win over Lemieux is the first step to collect all the belts @160 which should be the main goal for Golovkin

 

He gets credit from me - how much depends upon the manner of victory.

 

That is actually fair to say, but if you were being honest you would also include the fact that GGG is the favorite to beat Cotto, Canelo, Lee, Lemuiex, ect.

So he is widely considered the best middleweight in the world

 

Golovkin is clearly the best fighter @160
