Jeff Lacy says MMA is a fad!!

Not exactly an unbiased point of view. MMA has surpassed boxing in popularity beyond a shadow of a doubt. Boxing greats or even talented boxers of the past or present would beat most MMA fighters at boxing, but not in an actual MMA fight, because obviously they aren't trained for on the ground combat. Boxing is a classic sport but MMA is now more popular.

 

The problem with Lacys post is first its from 2007 and two a FAd is something that usually lasts no more than ten years and the UFC was about 14/15 years old when he made that statement! atsch
