Because GGG is a real sportsman who wants to prove that he is the best at his weight, while Cotto is a cherry picker businessman who has been avoiding his mandatory.

 

GGG offered to cut 6 pounds to fight Floyd at the weight he had belts in. Floyd fought an opponent of the same size as GGG, Canelo, and defeated him convincingly. Golovkin has never campaigned at 168 to say nothing of holding a title or defeating a top fighter of Ward's size. Clear huge differences.

Well you don't know that do you? You're simply projecting. Honestly, I don't have a problem with Cotto as a fighter, I like him but GGG should have gotten a shot at that belt since forever now (even before Cotto) and he still hasn't received it, this is what we're ****ed off with.

If Canelo wins and does the same, even though I really like him as a fighter I'll call him out on that **** as well. I mean how long can this duckage from the so called "lineal" titlists continue? It's sickening.

Cotto does have a great resume, but he is holding the middleweight title hostage. If he's too small he should vacate the title and fight Canelo at 154.
It's not that complicated. All the winner of Canelo/Cotto has to do is show up in a ring and whip GGGs azz and all of Sh!!masters problems will be solved
