Regardless of my opinion on the GGG and Ward situation I must say K2 have done a masterful job with promoting GGG in the last 3 years. Clearly fighting regularly is good not only for a fighter's confidence and ability but in their drawing and earning potential.

However - this can only happen if HBO are willing to accept lower quality foes to allow a fighter to be so active. I have no doubt that HBO would not have approved other fighters to face the same level of competition as he has been allowed for the majority of these 3 years. You only have to look at the Sergio/ Chavez/ Zbik situation of 2011/2012 of what can happen when you are not a primary interest for HBO.

It's not hard to be a super star, put in your work and you can be one before you know it.

When PAC first broke into the US market they asked PAC if he wanted to take on Ayala or test 126 out. PAC when straight to the master bedroom and said I want Barrera.

It says GGG is the great white hype right now. He'll be picking his fights carefully to build his career like any other fighter. If he was fighting all comers, then he'd be fighting Lara and Ward but he knows those fighters are his kryponite.

When his own mentally incapable fans brag about his laughable opposition, then he has no reason to actually pursuit a serious fight. That's why Golovkin will continue to face off against opponents with no hope in hell to even compete, and now both the weigh-ins and fights are on PPV.

    and Flom0s, dont forget flom0s

they know his idol would have gotten starched by GGG. they supported Floyd's duck and have always been desperate to see him move up in weight, because as long as GGG's near the JMW division, people will demand a fight between him and the ¨lineal¨ JMW division champ

flom0: why GGG doesn't move up to 168 or 175 for a real challenge?! MW division is ****, he's only fighting bums there!!

translation: get him away from Floydddd, far far awaaay bwwaaaaah!!!:|

Right now he is. Ward has been inactive and has been out of the spotlight. This fight has been matched well between two power punchers with eye catching records. It amplifies GGG and David's stock by just taking this fight. The next test is for both to perform. After Floyd vs PAC and their showing back in May......they know what NOT to do in the ring on this platform.

And this isn't even in Cali where the majority of GGG's fans are. Ggg is taking over the world.
