just been offered a couple of tickets for the show at edinburgh tonight. josh taylor looks to be in a decent fight as does ronnie clark against cacace but the rest of the card although supposed 10 fights most are against old reliable tba of the scottish lads I'm looking forward to seeing sam ball and lewis paulin they were pretty decent amateurs but had the pro style. anyone going tonight? and how do you see the main fights going? josh taylor in his second bout against adam mate who has a very respectable record of 17-5, not bad for your second fight! ronnie clark is up against it when he fights cacace but does anyone think the dundee boy can get the win tonight?
To be honest I've not idea who else is fighting tonight other than Taylor and Clarke. As you say, very respectable opponent for Josh in only his second fight and I think that speaks volumes about how highly he is held in regard by the McGuigans. As for Ronnie, very very tough fight for him tonight but you know what he's like and isn't beyond the realms of possibility that he pulls it out the bag knowing the grit and determination he has got. Brilliant to see another card being held in the capital sandwiched between 2 MGM shows. It's been a while since we had pro boxing in Edinburgh, think AAA must have been the last promotions company to put a show on!?
200 fans traveling through to support Ronnie. If you have ever been to Ronnie's fights you will see why he is so nuts his fans are just as bad. This is a good fight be explosive Cacacae's camp believe he hits harder than anyone Ronnie can bang and take a shot. If Cacacae believes that and stands and trades with Ronnie there will be a KO. It should be a ******* but when I predicted James and Evans fight to be wars they both backed off and ran. A lot of talk from Cacacae camp let's hope they go for it like they are saying end of the day we are all boxing fans and want to see a war. I'm going With my bro late stoppage.. As for Taylor I expect a early stoppage. Good step up but different levels..
all the scottish boys apart from ronnie clark won, good times ahead for scottish boxing, some nice domestic fights down the line aswell.
Heard the Cacace - Clark fight was a decent fight. Be nice to see to some footage somewhere. The only thing I can find so far is a few Clark fans getting a bit upset after the fight.
At work just now mate so can't get on YouTube. If you search for the Cyclone Promotions YouTube channel you'll find it there - will post a link tonight if I can.
