We aren't saying GGG wouldn't stop DeGale, but what we're saying is that he would be GGG's best win if they fought, because DeGale is skilful, he is quite awkward, he is bigger and taller etc...
GGG was far bigger than Lemeiux yesterday, but my God, his boxing performance was unreal.

The middleweight division needs Lee to win as he'll actually step up.

Like Andy Lee but can see him getting brutalised by Golovkin inside 2 rounds.

BJS is being underrated here, he has a strong amatuer pedigree and would make Golovkin miss a lot.

Saunders has the boxing skills and discipline to win some rounds against GGG

Sergey Derevyanchenko is GGG's biggest threat though..

Excellent performance last night,I would like to see how he would deal with being on the back foot, under adversity, behind on the cards, needing to take chances,he seemed ultra cautious,(respect for Lemieux maybe)
Is there anyone to do this, middleweights maybe no,he looked a lot stockier than lemieux so maybe its up to SMW and maybe Ward
Hes talented, powerful, smart, is he potential ATG? you have got to look at the opposition out there, where are the classic fight opponents for his legacy ?
It must be another Klitschko senario, dominate a era yet no real classic matchups frustrating for them maybe and no golden era of boxing for us
I dont think I have seen enough to praise him to the skies but you cant deny the aura and anticipation he creates

Yeah totally agree. Degale has a mini panic in every fight he has. As talented as Degale is, Golovkon would break him down and force a stoppage.

GGG is phenomenal, however at his age he needs big fights in the next year. Andre Ward would be great or even Kovalev. Kovalev natural size advanatge but that is what makes the fight even. Ward has the skills to beat Golovkin, what a mouth watering fight that could be.

Can't see Cotto fighting GGG at this stage of his career. Canelo would be a good fight for how long it lasts but Triple G has too much for him.

I will be surprised if GGG is still on top of his game in 2 - 3 years.

Ggg is the best boxer around he has everything power ,footwork, jab, chin,everything..anyone that throws his name around is just stupid as every big name fighter around his weight finds a reason to duck him or tries to drain him down to a catchweight.muppets

Ggg is frightening every fight I've watched him I feel sympathy for the opponent! Nobody beats him at middleweight absolutely no chance. How good would it be to see someone who's able to get golovkin on the back foot and actually out of 2nd gear!

I want to see him remain at middleweight.

Too few fighters today like to keep their titles. Theyd rather move up and down weights chasing the money.

But with Golovkin we could see a fighter unify a division of all four titles which hasnt been done since hopkins (Kovalev and Klitschko could possibly do it soon too).

Hes also had 15 defences, it wouldnt be too far fetched for him to go on to break the defense streak at middleweightweight of 20 defenses.

Weve got a real chance of there being an ATG middleweight who breaks quite a few records which is so rare nowdays and i for one would love to see that.

Hes got Canelo/Cotto, Jacobs/Qullin, Lee/Saunders plus mandatories to keep him busy. He could fight 4 times a year easy if he wanted to and he kept performing the way he has.

Might be nice to see him move up but id rather him stay at middleweight for now and try to clean up and bust those records.

Yeah I know what you are saying. Be good to see a fighter clean up a division. However Golovkin cleaning up the middleweight scene will come as no great surprise.

Golovkin moving up and boxing Ward, Kovalev, potentially Beterbiev etc does ask questions with variable answers. These fights would be huge. Golovkin is 33, not 23, he will not be around forever.

I want to see him in mega fights.

I'd love to see him get the opportunity to properly clean out the division.

It is better for middleweight boxing for Lee to beat Saunders. Let's be real, Saunders is a Frank fighter and will just have a Nathan Cleverly run of nobodies for about two years. Lee is more likely to do a Lemieux and make the fight. He has *****.

Hopefully Quillin doesn't beat Jacobs. Not sure even Jacobs would take it immediately.

Neutrals should also support Canelo. He has proven *****, while Cotto's latter years are too divaish.

I hope we see this for GGG:

    1: Lee or Canelo
    2: Lee or Canelo
    3: Jacobs or Quillin

    Perfect run.

Then take out anybody who's coming up at middleweight.

Boxing politics won't let Saunders win.
Even though I fancy lee to so a job on hin....we could see a close split decision to lee ( if he doesn't ko Saunders)....With lee unifying against golovkin ( to lose) then Saunders will fight golovkin ( the reason I say Saunders golovkin. ..is because the close split which I think we will see against andy lee....will prompt an immediate rematch. ....which we wont see because Andy will fight golovkin and get beat. .......but it will be the best fight in the last 10 years guaranteed
