Evgeny Chuprakov is a Short 25 year old Super Featherweight with a 14-0 8 KO's record. Born and fighting out of Ekaterinburg, Russia. Often I've seen the subject raised as to why there are no Eastern Europeans fighting in the lower classes, well guess what you've got one. Evgeny who has the completely asinine nickname in Happy Gilmore (yes that's his idea not mine) is a very skilled little guy who's spent time working with Manny Pacquiao and is (was?) trained by Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym. He had a decent amateur career with a 120-30 record who according to Freddie " I definitely have a prospect on my hands. He is a very slick boxer and can throw a lot of hard shots and be aggressive which is what the fans love.” He's decent at cutting off the ring, works behind his jab pretty well but his matches have a tendency to break down and turn into inside slugfests, lucky for him he's a decent inside fighter. He has power even though his record may not seem to reflect it, most of his UD's were early 4 and 6 rounders, he tends to do most of his damage late in the match. So Check Out this little Tank In Action.:toney:toney:toney:toney

:bart I do not condone taking advantage of a faded ex-champ making an ill-advised return to action when he's no longer capable of hanging with guys that would've been leagues below him in his prime so they can build up their resume with a low-risk name from yesteryear.

Therefore, on behalf of Dmitri Kirilov, I'm eagerly anticipating the day when McCullough, Ceylan, and Chuprakov each get their asses handed to them. :deal

I feel that way about virtually everyone that has fought Danny Williams in the last five years.

That means Charr, L****n, Hammer, Wawrzyk, Granat, and Bogdan can all split a trough full of pickled ****s. :good I'll always be happy to see these bullies get served.

Kreiskott and Mrazek get passes because they're losing-record journeymen themselves; Briedis gets a pass because he was a green cruiser with a tenth of Danny's experience (and, to hammer the point home, a cruiser, not a super heavy like the rest on this list); Maskaev and Bakhtov get passes because they're pretty damn shot themselves (even if not to quite the same extent as Danny).

I agree 100%, but most young Boxers do this to a certain extent and I blame their promoters more than I do the fighters unless there's ample evidence the fighters themselves want the cherry picks as well like Quillin, Wilder etc.

You should do a massive thread about this subject, it should be discussed a lot more.:good

Yeah kind of, you did two threads on Maskaev and Guzman IIRC.
