Op should get a life. If the police got wind of his infatuation with Matchroom, he'd be arrested for stalking.
Watt can OK, he does rebel here and there verbally but then they stick up his scorecard and it bares no relation to what he has said or what anybody has watched. Halling is far far worse than Watt, he ruins my entertainment on a regular basis. The only reason Sky haven't done a Red Button option for No Commentary is because they know they would be talking to themselves.
Everyone hates on Froch, granted he talks about himself too much but he is quite honest in his assessment of other fighters. He doesn't go along with his Sky colleagues.
This sums it up. Awful main commentator, dangerous mismatches as main events, area level fighters billed as world beaters, and Hearn grinning all the way to the bank.
With Fury and Brook both off I agree it was ****e but 95% of the time he puts on a good card. The first ****e night of sky boxing for a while. **** happens.
If you think 95% of Matchroom cards are good then you must be blind, have no access to the Internet to research records, believe Eddie Hearn's shyte don't smell and rely fully on the Sky Commentary. atsch
I have no idea how long I've been a Sky customer, years and years.... and some more years. I am a huge football and boxing fan, I normally go the games and shows (amateur and pro) but I can't always go, so I subscribe to Sky Sport for boxing and football. This is the worst period in a long time for boxing, I can't remember it being this bad and it is getting worse. The commentaries are awful, the punditry is shocking and the unjustified hype of certain fighters is just criminal. I've watched boxing for years and I do not want to be told by Nick Halling that Oliver Harrison "is just like North Korea", Halling shouting down the mic Anthony Crolla "has been ROBBED" while telling me Ricky Burns was a "lucky boy" when they did rob Ray Beltran and even last night McDonnell is "perpetual motion" and nearly every little flurry by a Matchroom fighter is "world class". And there are many more examples of the attempted brainwashing or the Sky team trying to influence what you are watching instead of just commentating. I might not be the most knowledgable boxing fan but I'm not a complete f***ing idiot, I know what I'm watching. But I agree, you never know what you are going to get with any fight, most fights never live up to expectations but as Pro Punter said, a main event with the favourite 1-100 is a joke, that is not an event that is a mismatch and there are just too many of them on Sky now.
You must of missed the part when Froch said Eubank will beat O Sullivan easy as hes domestic level and Mccrory said youre being disrespectful who ever wins that fight will win a world title. Toeing the line there mate
