Incorrect yes it was a eliminator but it was not a final eliminator which gains u the mandatory position. The board hav made a final eliminator between tennsyon and traynor. U wud think the wud have done the research b4 the fight.
They have probably been told to use the angel of the eliminator to make the fight make sense to the casual fans, we know that an eliminator doesn't guarantee a shot at the British but the casual fan doesn't and maybe wouldn't understand the point if you then had to face a final eliminator.

great point. Nick Halling is a clown, he is winging the job, fight by fight he must sit there and tick off little phrases somebody who knows very little about boxing has written down for him. Quite a few people have said Halling was superb on the NFL so he is talented but boxing is not the sport for him.
