Does the mean Andy Ruiz Jnr is really bad, or that AJ is just a level above?

Personally I believe Ruiz Jr is very average and AJ is very good.

I watched the fight this afternoon thinking that Ruiz would get blasted out in under 2 rounds by A.J

It just proves AJ is a few levels above the rest of the prospects at heavyweight. Love also went 10 with Martin prior to being stopped.

Ruiz throws good combinations with good speed but he will find himself wanting when he steps up to the next level i think.

This, basically. Good to watch though - some decent combinations and hand speed.

Both. Ruiz Jr. hit RZL with the kitchen sink and couldn't so much as put him on the mat.

Good for his girth, and fast by any heavyweight standards, but a middle of the pack contender at world stage. :deal

Love is one tough guy though, some of the shots he got hit with last night were bang on the chin and he just didn't wobble. I think it shows AJ's power is pretty incredible but I was more impressed with Ruiz last night than I had been before, also glad he is getting into better shape now too.

Would like to see Love back over here against Hughie Fury as a good benchmark test

To be fair, this fight had probably been stopped if it had been in Britain, only it shows Joshi has big time power

Yeah I thought that watching, couldn't believe they let it go on, but it does prove that judges over here and way too fast in getting involved.

Ruiz jr should be fighting at cruiser, if he was 7% body fat he might even be a light heavyweight. There is no excuse for ANYONE to be that fat, let alone a professional athlete.
