the consensus on this forum is that wbc will do whatever the mexicans want to do.

So basically, if Canelo decided to fight TrippeGod at 155, WBC will change the weight limits to accommodate.

I hope not, of course, but it is We Be Crooks after all.

The fact of the matter is, with the "retirement" of FMJ, the Cotto Canelo winner will represent *the* biggest sanctioning fee that the WBC will be able to collect, period. If anyone thinks the WBC will dictate terms to the Cotto Canelo winner then they don't know how the business of boxing works. When was the last time the WBC forced FMJ to fight a mandatory?

Sanctioning fees are capped though. Whether it be Canelo, Golovkin, or Cotto they will hit the maximum amount - a percentage of the purse up to a maximum of (think it's 100 grand)

Sulaiman did state a couple of weeks ago the WBC has enforced K2's statements regarding catchweights. His stance is if they want to fight at a catchweight, that's fine, but the champion cannot impose a catchweight on his mandatory challenger. 160 or be stripped is the short version.

Still, the WBC may change their mind once the brown envelope arrives.

So Steve, you openly root for guys at middleweight to duck GGG, their mandatory, because Ward declined to meet GGG halfway at 164 in a non-title, over the weight fight??
Boy, you are pretty ****ing stupid.

Then Roc Nation waited until G had a fight signed to send an offer over for next year when GGG should be able to enforce his middleweight mandatory status. How brave of them. Yet you actually buy that bull****. Not too bright.

Ward ducked GGG. He demanded an impossible weight advantage for himself.

GGG declined to meet Ward at 168 for the title. GGG is refusing to bow down to the Cotto VS Canelo winner on a 155 weight limit for a middleweight contest. I don't blame him. Cotto wants to use that title to generate more revenue for the fight between him and Canelo. Whoever wins that fight is done at middleweight. I hope so because then GGG can turn around and go the other way towards Quillin Lee and Jacobs or fight Tureano Johnson for the vacant WBC title and then go the other way. I think that is his plan and that's the main reason why he will not surrender to Canelo or Cotto on the weight issue.

I pay attention to you again for charity. Does this make you feel important? When I call you a ****ing moron does it make you feel like you have some social interaction? I am doing you such a service. I will respond to stupid **** like GGG ducked Lara by calling you an embarrassment to your people, which is really saying something. You are a ****ing idiot. If you are 15 iq points lower than the average Ward fan, you are considered fully re****ed. I suspect that you are.
You can thank me any time for giving you someone to talk to in you pathetic, attention deprived life, you ****ing loser. Have a very nice day 👍🏼😊
