I'd be totally content with Takam, honestly.

He's the best semi-realistic option among those named.

Povetkin and no one else. Why should he face someone ? He can train and spar. He already defend the title twice against nobodies
If he want to fight, let him do it, but not for the title.

Yeah. Doesn't have a fight scheduled, coming off of two wins over journeymen and gave Povetkin a good fight for 8 rounds. Takam is the best option now that Jennings has a fight scheduled.

I feel bad for guys like Takam.... in 2014 he faced Perez, Thompson, and Povetkin... Should have been 2-1 but instead had to settle for a 1-1-1 record in the series, while guys like Wilders fight bums and get hyped and get gift title shots against unworthy champions. Takams 2013>> Wilders career thus far. :deal

Yeah, It's so unfair that Takam has to settle with fighting journeymen while people like Molina get a title shot.

If Takam had beaten Stiverne, Scott, or some of Wilder's other opponents there might be room for argument here. But he hasn't. You are basically calling one set of guys bums and one set contenders when they haven't really been tested against one another.

Lets see Takam or Perez beat Stiverne, Scott, or Wilder before you shoot your mouth off.

Takam's win over TT alone is beyond anything Stiverne has ever done.

Tony Thompson's resume is roughly about as good as Chris Arreola's, except that Arreola actually looked better against Vitali than Thompson did against Wlad.

Basically, you are totally dismissing Wilder's opponents as nothing, and overpraising Povetkin's. Without anything of real substance to back it up.

How Malik Scott does against TT may tell a lot.

That being said. I am all for Takam as Wilder's next opponent if not Povetkin. Wouldn't be disappointed with Chisora either, who I actually think is overrated, but a decisive win by Wilder over him would silence some of his critics.

What I said had absouletly nothing to do with Povetkin. If you read my post above, I said It was unfair that Takam has to settle fighting journeymen while people like Molina get a title shot. Anything inaccurate with that?

TT stole some rounds from Wlad so I don't know what you mean by "Arreola did better against Vitali". He was simply a punching bag.

I also don't know what you mean by "Arreola and TT's resumes are on par.

TT: Timur Ibragimov, Luan Krasniqi, David Price(2), Odlainer Solis(2)
Arreola: Seth Mitchell, Erik Molina, Brian Minto

The only possible choice should be Povetkin.

We are almost in November, which Top50 fighter will agree to fight Wilder on January?
