Decent fight, there aren't many business men on here. It's 2 months away and a massive name. Mosley is a fight smith should win but I think it goes to points. Nice earner for him before Christmas and then onto some good fights next year. Smith hasn't really fought anyone yet either so it could actually be a step up believe it or not.

Sounds strange but I wouldn't have a problem with the fight. Let's face it Warrren (as per modern boxing) is only going to put Liam in with some Latvian postman as his first defense and although Mosley is shot to death I would rather see him in there.

Its not going to happen anyway though as Mosley will be wanting at least a million US at first guess.

It would be have been better if Smith had beaten Mosley to win the title and had Thompson as his first defense as people will always look to who you beat for a world title. Smith wants to have the bigger names and although Mosley is well past his best its still a good scalp in relation to the pathetic performance Thompson gave fighting for the title in the first place.

Smith probably did lose all of the early rounds, he was just bidding his time, walking him down. It was just a matter of time, Thompson had very little defence, and once he got clocked on the ropes, that was it.

Doubt it will even happen Mosley will want too much £££. Smith wins easy now, decent matchmaking though name-wise IMO.

Good fight for Smith. Mosley is still a name, even though he is well past it. Increases the kids stock in the US.

LMFAO what a *****, he wants a rematch clause against man in his mid 40's who's shot to ****? Even that bum thompson was outboxing him and would have won if he had 2 hands.

What a disgraceful fight to consider. I'd have been cheeri Sugar Shane to land a Hail Mary punch that knocks Smith the F out.

That's what he'd deserve for picking a much smaller shot to **** HOFer to prey upon.

Business wise would have been a terrific fight, Sugar Shane would have looked great on his resume and he would have looked like a beast. Mosley looked horrible against Mayorga and would have been smashed to pieces by Liam.

On the flip side it would have been a horrible spectacle for the sport, as I said he looked terrible against Mayorga and that was against another fighter coming out of retirement to top up his pension fight. It would also have made a mockery of the World Title Liam holds, what has Shane done in the last 5 years to warrant a title shot at a weight he never really boxed at?

I would have watched it but i'm glad it's not going to happen tbh.
