Bute destroys DeGale

    Strong performance from Bute.

    Impressive 65% connect rate but Degale looked there for the taking. Just before the knock down DeGale landed a big shot that rocked Bute. But it seemed to ignite Bute and seconds later Bute landed a beautiful bomb to set up the ending.

    I thought DeGale was better fighter than he showed tonight. He gave Groves a good fight but tonight he looked like he substantially inferior to Bute. Maybe it was just Bute is not as shot as many think.

    The walk out fight with Caleb Plant sure ended fast. Blew out a no hoper in the first round. Someone on here was touting this kid.

    I'd love for Bute to win and bounce back but I just think Froch took too much from him. I'll certainly be rooting for him though.

    Bute can't take a hard punch, and DeGale punches very hard.

    If Bute is still gunshy, then he will get stopped by DeGale.
