I totally agree. Miranda is especially open to straight right hands and left hooks. Pavlik hit and hurt him with that all night long, but Pavlik is a middleweight and Kessler is indeed a very big super middleweight who hits harer than Pavlik. Besides Pavlik walked through everything Miranda hit him with and we know that Pavlik has been down before, so that leaves me wondering how hard does Miranda actually hit ?

 

Miranda probably hits very hard but im thinking Pavlik saw them all coming. More often than not you hit the deck from shots you dont see.

 

People have been talking about how Kessler couldnt get a fight to get back into the limelight, that he was a risk/reward nightmare after he lost to Calzaghe and lost his titles...Mundine and Wright didnt want to meet Kessler. Do you people think that dismantling Miranda on Showtime would get him back faster then the WBA title?

 

I dont think Pavlik is interested in fighting Kessler for several reasons, but I dont think that is ducking from Pavliks side, that is very understandable. Glen Johnsom has just fought so that would not be possible either. But i dont think that is ducking either. I dont think there is a single Kessler fan here that wouldn't love to see one of these fights, even I believe that he could do better than fight Johnson.

I think that Kessler had many things stacked against him when he faced Mundine in Sydney and Calzaghe in Wales, the last one of course he lost quite clearly but I did not see a onesided domination.

I think the Miranda issue is the first time that you really can question something about his motives at least I think it is a crappy decition not to fight Miranda but there may be long term considerations involved and I am not that sure that the guy he is fighting is inferior to Miranda.

Personally I think the best possible fight for Kessler next would be Jermain Taylor. I wish that the Pavlik fight could happen I think Pavlik would be easier for Kessler than Taylor. Likewise a rematch with Calzaghe would be great. But the last 2 match ups I think are impossible. Bute was another great fight but I dont see that happening anytime soon.

You can compare to Chad Dawson I think he is quite similar level as Kessler but he is 100 times easier to promote in america. It is very hard for the networks to get enough audience for a Kessler fight in America and therefore he chooses to fight in Europe. This is basically not good for the sport but it is how it works.

Kessler never ducked Miranda. Why negotiate and write contracts if you are affraid, it is that simple. This is a disappointment to many but it is not ducking.

Just how do you work out that Pavlik hits less hard than Kessler? Pavlik doesn't score kncokouts through accumulation of fast punches he has natural brutal power the guy hits damn damn hard ask Taylor and Miranda.

 

Kessler has Vaginitis, the only cure for that is a showdown with Miranda

 

Hehe - not deserving a titleshot for not facing a fighter who's biggest claim to fame is his big mouth and two lost titlefights

Kessler was unified champion and lost a close although clear decision to a top3 p4p fighter in Calzaghe (in front of 60.000 Calzaghefans) - he doesn't have to do **** to "earn" another titleshot - or bigmouth his way to one.

on the 21 of June Kessler will be fighting for the WBA-title versus undefeated Sartison. On that day iranda will have another loss on his record - the second one to Abraham!

 

Kessler get a lot of heat for not fighting Miranda, perhaps because his fanboys want the match, but they just go on, and on, and on...they dont look at facts or participate in the debate, they just keep on with thoose childish oneliners...It is just Miranda FFS! Not a big name like Winky, Taylor, Bute, RJJ, Calzaghe II, Pavlik or a second titlefight against Mundine.

Did Bute, Mundine or Winky get the same heat when they choose not to fight Kessler? Has Kessler proven to be a chicken in the past? Will Kessler get bigger fights in the future with a belt, then with a win over Miranda?

 

Oh god it gets funnier a close decision to Calzaghe Kessler admitted it was shutout!

 

Unbelievable that there are people that really believe this.

 

But there really is no good reason why Kessler should be scared of Miranda.

Please point that out to me: Why should he be scared of him.

Honestly I literally believe that Miranda had a maybe 5 percent chance of beating Kessler.
