I clearly understand a lot more than you do. Get GGG's sack off your chin there pal. First Loeffler said it was a comment to Rafeal, then he said they rcvd Wards offer they had already signed Lemiuex fight, Which turned out to be false as Ward supplied proof his offer was sent before the contract was completed. Meanwhile Loeffler now responding that he declined the offer (within 24 hours mind you) saying 50/50 is "unfair". You should probably do some research and read what both sides are saying, not just GGG's people. There's always 2 side to any story.
And Ward fans have this strange phenomenon of pretending time stands still. As though Andre's good wins from 2009-2011 are just as fresh now, or GGG is in the same weak bargaining position he was in when he had to take short money for fights. Things change, and Ward wasn't in a position to demand 50/50 at 168. Deep down, you know it. But it's easier to blame GGG than admit your guy dropped the ball on his own career by acting like he didn't need to do anything once he reached the top. Winning the Super 6 was a great achievement but it turned Ward into a complacent, entitled fighter. Take GGG out of the picture entirely-pretend he never came along- and that's still the case. You can eliminate GGG entirely and Ward's issues wouldn't have changed one bit.
Golovkin's entire career is and will be against tune-ups. As long as he has simple minded fans roaring in disbelief and excitement, they have no reason to take any risk and step-up.
GGG fans have this strange phenomenon that you can fight C- level fighters and no hopers for over 30 fights and never face one elite fighter never having to prove yourself and no one should have a problem with it or question it. They seem to think ducking Ward an elite fighter is perfectly fine and get mad when you call GGG out on it. They seem to think GGG is A-side and doesn't need Ward even though his last PPV bombed and did 97K-150K in buys but when Canelo a true A-side wants the fight on his terms they have a problem with it.:yep
GGG isn't the A-side, yet he's used here (yet again) as justification for Ward's issues. For someone so expendable, he sure is handy as Ward's scapegoat. If Andre doesn't need GGG, why is it GGG is the only comeback you have when I point out how Dre sabotaged his own star power? Like I said, take GGG out of the picture entirely to look at Andre's situation on its own merits. You couldn't do it for one sentence lol.
If you tally up the number of times "GGG" or "Golovkin" is mentioned in this thread I'm pretty sure it would greatly outnumber the number of actual references to "Ward."
He also had the power to be responsible for Ward's inactivity and decreasing popularity despite not even fighting here until Ward fought Dawson. Now THAT'S power. I realize now the reason Ward fans don't hold Andre accountable for his career the last few years is that little bully Golovkin was the one wrecking it.
