    THEY ARE NOT AMERICAN !

    This sport is called "boxing", not "American boxing" or "black boxing". Post-Soviets are a major force now outclassing black Americans.

    I don't think this is 100% because of racism, its more to do with a large proportion of fans not wanting to embrace change and the new challenges of having more countries compete. There defense mechanism is to tear down all these EE fighters for no apparent reason. Even though the vast majority are great to watch fan friendly and have power and will fight anyone and are great for the sport

    Makarenko was still a great fighter at the age of 31. After his loss to Ward, he went on to beat Mike Perez in 2005, Arthur Beterbiev in 2006 and Badou Jack & Egor Mekhontsev in 2007.

    Well to be fair Makarenko beat Beterbiev by DQ for low blows in 2006. Looked bogus to me too. If Loma had that ref against Salido the later would've been DQ'd after a couple of rounds. And Beterbiev was just trying work when Makarenko was holding him and trying to prevent him from doing so, a bit like Ward was doing against the Uzbek Haydarov in his Olympic semi-final only Ward was a million times worse.
