pretty sure there have been talks... Floyd just wants to keep up the "retired" appearance for some reason.
There's nothing to gain from claiming that from Pac's side, other than making sure you **** off Floyd enough that it never happens.
    Pac is no Amir Khan

Yeah i dont think Pacquaio would lie. There is something definately happening behind the scenes.

If they were negotiating a rematch (and they probably are) then it would be behind closed doors and on the down low with both sides denying it. Pac tends to have trouble keeping his mouth shut, while Mayweather can lie with ease. So, just keep that in mind.

I guess it's not possible that Pac is mistaken, eh?

The rematch is happening. Hopefully Pac does well against Crawford (win or lose) to make it an interesting rematch. Pac needs to show me something b4 I even consider watching a rematch. We already know what Floyd is going to do. Floyd in their fight was being the same old Floyd and Pac wasn't close to being the old Pac.

Floyd's not yet ready to admit that he lied about Berto being his last fight.

    It's just too soon.

Idk how he would be mistaken, lol. He would be the best person to know who his team was negotiating with.

Arum makes the fights for Pac and said the Mayweather fight is not happening. Mayweather says the Pac fight is not happening. If something was in the works, both Mayweather and Arum would not be saying anything. In this particular situation, where both Arum and Mayweather agree, I would tend to believe them over Pac. I think it is just wishful thinking on Pac's part.

It's a safe bet that Pacquiao does little to no actual negotiating so what he says on the matter is most likely what he's been told. Mayweather could easily lie also. I don't trust either side.

I don't see why mayweather would risked a rematch. He already has legacy and money. And is undefeated. I doubt a comeback

Im expecting this to happen, Floyd knew he would win the 1st match, knew Manny would want a rematch so he has retired so if Manny wants him, and he does, he is guna have to coax him out of his fake retirement with a bigger share of what ever the money will be.

And theres no way with an ego like Floyds that he has planned on finishing on 50 and 0 for a good few years now. Pacquiao rematch, nice pay day and then retired.
