Short from last Loma's Skype interview: I never refused to fight with anybody. Koasicha was the only one who agreed to fight with me on November 7th. Verbally everyone wants, but in reality everyone refused. Walters was the best fighter in my weight yet been there. We had a preliminary agreement that our unification fight will be next. But he lost the belt at the weigh and moved to another weight. Now I am interested to fight with Leo. Everything depends on the promoters.

Loma Russell 2 needs to happen. Russell wants revenge and maybe Loma can learn enough english to ask him at the beginning of the fight, "You got any excuses tonight Gary?"

Did he mention anything about moving up to 130?

I think he should have just fought Walters title or no title, it's better than Koaschila. You can't be picky when you have little options.

I agree that would have been a great fight regardless of title. I'm a Loma fan but that was a lame excuse.

The fake boxing organization WBO gave this mini bum beater the mando spot after fighting 1 professional fight.

Now they are running around stripping fighters of better pedigree and never making this bum fight anyone of note.

Bob Arum should kick his own ass for not getting this kid better competition in a division that's ran by Haymon and Hearns. Those two are tighter than ass checks.

Walters comes in the ring as a welterweight - that's just not good enough.

That's the equivalent of a welterweight fighter coming in as a LHW.

You can make an exception for a guy who maybe drains 4 or 5lbs - but no allowance should be made for guys like that.

But Rigo wanted a rehydration clause for Loma and people killed him for it and Rigo is much smaller than Loma in fact he should be fighting at 118. Loma-Walters should have happened.

I think rehydration clauses are fair game, personally. If you can't make the weight GTFO. Too many weight-cutters in boxing for my liking.

To me, the only weight it's acceptable to cut vast amounts of weight at is LHW.

Loma himself puts on about 10lbs over night.

Very few guys out there only cut 4-5 lbs

No Rigo wanted a catch weight and rehydration clause. Vasya was cool with either one but not both.

rigo due to his management disputes and promotional disputes could have even have fought against loma at that point so all the talks were pointless

No it doesn't. Only competitive fights
need a rematch and only bitter EE fighter haters are calling for it.
GRJ would never beat loma. 2 different
    skill levels. Deal with it.

Well it didn't because walters didn't
make weight and left the division, so
    how's that Loma's fault?
