If GGG is ducking Ward, then Ward is ducking GGG

How do you know they would have fought for Ward's SMW title (if the fight was at a cw)?

HBO don't do non-title fights.

 

I'm starting to think Ward might have just been a fluke. He got Kessler shopworn at the perfect time, beat Froch on a bad night and then a drained Dawson. I'm sorry but he needs to beat more world class competition before he can demand any higher accolades. He only has 28 fights. 26 after his last meaningful win. This is why the networks are hesitant with him and Roc Nation was the only promoter that would pick him up. Even Al Haymon had no interest in him. And Al has a lot of SMW and LHW he could have matched him with.

 

Doc, I guess we'll find out next fall when the Kovalev fight is supposed to happen. Will be a make or break moment for Ward, for sure.

 

I dont think GGG will ever get any Credit for anything he does in the future, because of posts like this from his supposed fans. Ward deserves credit for what hes done in his young career, and im sure GGG will get the credit he deserves when/If he beats Canelo Alvarez.

 

He does get credit for it he's p4p top 3. way overrated imo

I mean, I don't hate GGG, I like him, I've said many time, and twice today, when he is done, he will be in the hall of fame, but he needs new management in the worst way.
