Only recently heard the news that he is making a move up to light heavy and has so given himself another 3 tune ups for him to find the ***** to get in the ring with The Krusher.

I highly doubt the fight will take place, however if anyone does believe it will, when do you think the fight will happen and what 3 bums does Ward have in mind to hold and smother on to?

After Brand he supposedly has one more tune up before Kovalev. I wonder if it will be an actual LHW?

I been saying Y. Gonzales is a very good guy to prepare for. He is a tall LHW and Ward could get a good feeling about being in there with a long armed, rangy LHW.

Andre will get big credit from me if it's Gonzo next. It's the right step up to make if he really wants to season himself to 175 before stepping up to Kovalev.

After Russell Brand he might as well fight the guy from Maroon 5...Adam Levine. Then Mick Jagger. I hope he Ko's all of those wimps.

Ward's first fight back after 19 months of self imposed inactivity, he fought a SMW above the SMW limit.
His fight next month is against a SMW above the SMW limit.
Do you not see a trend here?

I'd be extremely surprised if he takes on Kovalev, it's just a really risky fight for Ward, huge props if he does though.

Either way yeah, if he's going to prepare for Kovalev he needs to face tougher opponents than that and I'd rather he proved himself as a top LHW before taking on Kovalev because if he loses I can already see the "Oh he was inactive", "Oh he's a supermiddleweight" excuses rolling in. I don't blame him for taking on Brand (only because there's not enough time to get a good opponent) but I hope the opponent after that is someone good e.g. Gonzalez or Fonfara or something like that.

He will drag another super middle or fight some shot LHW. Ward has NO PLANS to fight Kovalev. Don't be fooled by him talking about it.

Ward will not fight Kovalev, he will probably retire or **** off to PBC next year.
He's now using both: GGG's and Kovalev's names to stay relevant while he's not fighting (or fighting nobodies).
