Ward beating Dawson is one of the best wins of this decade.

I always thought Chad was mentally weak with low ring iq. Combine that with the fight taking place @ 168 and it's a good win, not great.

Yeah, ward was pretty dominant againt dawson...showed why he's #2PFP. Kovalev would be easier than dawson. ward would *****slap that racist skinhead all over the ring.

 

Too bad he won't be able to fight Kovalev at 168, but then again Ward can't fight at 168 either. Brand should really get him ready for 175 though.

 

MVC is a f4cking troll. Ward beating Dawson at 168 is about as Golovkin beating Ward at 160.

 

Almost as good a win as Stevenson-Dawson.

 

But not quite as good a win as Lomachenko KO'ing Wlad at 126. I gave Loma full credit for beating the heavyweight champion as though it were at the weight. Wlad sacrificing all four limbs and his spleen to make weight had no bearing on the outcome.

 

It was a fine win, not a great one. Froch was a far better win.

 

If it had been at 175 then it would have been one of the better wins, but Dawson looked like **** at 168.

 

No it's not, Dawson has an awful Glass Jaw and even the limited Glen Johnson schooled him and almost won the fight.

Dawson has no ring intelligence, no plan B, a Glass Jaw, no power. He was only built up by the American media, real boxing fans knew he was a fraud.

 

Ward's power is apocalyptic, similar level to Wilder's!

Easy to dismiss the win now , but a lot thought Dawson was going to win and at the least - a boring 12 round points decision for Ward.
