    I think floyd would beat ggg easier than most people realize. There's just a huge disparity in terms of what skills they bring. GGG has floyd in two department...that's power punching and physical size. But he's too slow to catch floyd and he'd always be out of position to land anything effective...the other thing is, floyd's power is deceptive. That's the one thing floyd opponents don't like to talk about. he's got power...and they feel it when he lands. If floyd lands flush a few times, ggg would be neutralized just like canelo and cotto.

    But like you say, with 97K ppv buys, it doesn't make sense for floyd to beat up on ggg. The same know-nothing fans talking sh8t about floyd now now would be saying "who is ggg? some no-name bum floyd mayweather cherry-picked"...

    He didn't lie about that. GGG is pretty basic, doesn't really have spectacular handspeed, not real flashy. Not really superb defense. He is a very solid technical fighter though. Really good at what he does. It's not a dis to call a fighter basic if it's what they do.

    Why would anyone really be surprised if Mayweather beat GGG at 154 or 160.
    OK GGG is strong but would probably be the slowest guy Mayweather has ever fought, he wouldn't be able to outbox Floyd, likely wouldn't land more than 1 good punch the whole fight.

    The biggest knock haters have is Mayweather fighting the same style, well GGG is this same style he's made a career off of.
