Backed into a corner, and winning a belt, you are not going to just immediately vacate.

They've talked too much of a big game to be blatantly ducking at this point.

They had to take the fight, due to it being both mandatory and the pressure from the boxing world who witnessed FJ getting beaten like a dog in the amateurs by Dillian.

Now if he wanted that credibility then he would have to folllow through.

Hearns had to talk FJ into fighting Whye, because femi was telling hearns that the fight wouldn't sell, even though he jumped at the chance to fight bums like Cornish who they sold as being some big test for him.

Please. No one knows who Whyte is, he has zero star power to back anyone into a corner. Joshua's star already transcends domestic titles, I don't even like him that much but that's the truth.

This is nothing more than a business opportunity for Hearn.

You contradict yourself. how can it be a business opportunity for Hearns if by your own admission you believe that no one knows who Whyte is?

It's "big domestic clash", Whyte is the "opponent".

They could easily have swerved that fight and fough some big name faded yank - easily.

But now they have a sub-standard British opponent to make easy bank of and Hearn's got his shit-eating grin loving it.

Matchroom are a lot of things, but idiots they are not. They're not sacrificing the Olympic gold medallist at the altar of Dillian effing Whyte. They wouldn't have made the fight without all but knowing they're going to win.

Who gives a fig about all this soap opera bull****? Some here sound like a bunch of bitter parole officers drowning their sorrows. :dead

In an era of Wilder you are *****ing about these two? Wilder's the real criminal - guilty of kidnapping a HW belt and fraud for imitating an actual champ. :deal

How can it be a big domestic clash if no one knows who Whyte is according to yourself?

What you don't seem to understand is that both of these guys are at the same level, both prospect who faced similar level of opponents.

Femi has just more hype behind him.

You will find out how easy this fight is for the drug dealer, when he is picking up his gum shield off the floor after getting his fraudulent bush meat eating glass jaw shattered

Most Brits will remember Obafemi Martins the Nigerian football/soccer player who played for Newcastle United, now plays in Seattle.

There's really no place for American blacks to be making fun of African names, if you're an American black then guess what your name would have been if your ancestors hadn't been exported, quite possible it would have been Femi.

"Drug dealers don't just sell ''a bit of weed''. If it was anyone else and they were a drug dealer, you'd be calling them scum."

Can you read this? read it out again, "drug dealers" don't all sell all drugs there isnt a standard product list and growing up here you learn quickly not all drug dealers are death peddling monsters.

I specifically said it's common knowledge he sold a bit of weed. is that clear now? britain isnt huge once he became big it was common knowledge he used to sell weed mainly to his mates as you stated before he wasnt a proper badboy so again NOT TONY MANTANA.

Yes i know he grew up in brixton, i grew up in peckham and went to school in brixton (william penn). and you're a fool to ask me for proof that he did anything. Different generation people didnt tell the world everything then on fbook, instagram, twitter.
"he has a partner now" So? what doesn that have to do with anything? and anyway im talking about the past when he was young. Josh isnt selling weed NOW is he? we're talking about the past.
and the fact Josh was caught means he wasnt a very good drug dealer now was he? asking for proof means nothing if you has the slightest clue he isnt gna put it on instgram is he.
And his career did as you say stall because of the supplement issue but he still has stalled due to his lifestyle if youve not followed him just since he is fighting josh he is a manchild who was constantly getting in grief.

you need to learn a bit about africans and they way they live you think he was a rich posh kid cos his parents grafted for him to to go private school some familes go hungrey to send their kids to school.

And lastly calling him Femi just makes you look pathetic.

It's pretty common for people with different ethnic back grounds to have English names as well. Herbie Hide was born as Herbert Okechukwu Maduagwu, the womens 400m runner Christine Ohuruogu's Nigerian first name is Ijeoma. Hell even the Royal family changed their names to integrate, it's a common practice.

Oluwafemi Olaseni or more commonly known as Anthony Joshua has likely been known as Anthony Joshua for his entire life, if not most of it. His early amateur fights were under the name A. Joshua. So if you think he changed it to simply be more marketable then you are an idiot, because I doubt he was thinking he was going to be a star when he first started boxing.

Marciano changed his name as well was he fake for simply wanting a different name?
