    People are doing weird mental gymnastics to downplay Povetkin's stunning cv. Why? We don't know. It is perplexing. Let's look at Povetkin's top 10 wins again.

    1. Chris Byrd. The man who beat the same versions of messrs Vitali and Holyfield much easier than Lewis did was battered relentlessly for 11 rounds before being stopped by Povetkin. This was a beat down, a massacre.

    2. Marko Huck. Povetkin actually beat this prime ATG in his German backyard after gutting it out in an all out war. One of the greatest HW title fights of all time.

    3. Hasim Rahman. The former undisputed and lineal champ Rahman yet again couldn't deal with the russian style. Utterly destroyed within 2 rounds.

    4. Chagaev. Tactical masterclass over the man who stopped Valuev breaking Marciano's record.

    5. Mike Perez. The man touted to be the man to dominate the sport. Dashed by Povetkin's brutal KO within a round.

    6. Larry Donald. Coming into the fight with a streak that included easily beating Holyfield and being robbed by Valuev Mr. Donald was no match for Povetkin as he lost by shutout.

    7. Wach. The man of steel, the unbreakable one. They said stopping the man who's chin literally takes up 72% of his face was impossible. They were wrong.

    8. Takam. A modern day Tyson. Brutally knocked out by Povetkin.

    9. Eddie Chambers. Slick 30-0 Eddie Chambers was no match for Povetkin's workrate.

    10. Cedric Boswell. Cedric finally got his shot at the title. brutally Knocked out.

    Not as debatable as the Ali Norton trilogy. Tight fights happen in boxing.

    Chagaev, Huck and Takam are very significant wins. Byrd and Rahman were too past it. I'd not place Wach in the top 10. Dude has size, chin and nothing else. I think he was the worst opponent Sasha fought since Wawrzyk.

    Rahman was far more shot than Byrd.

    Rahman was like Danny Williams shot.

    Byrd was just past his best.

    Wach is not great, but he is a threat to anyone with his size/reach/power/durability.
    That is the reason so many guys simply avoiding him.
    He was standing his ground in the first 5 rounds, tho he lost probably 3 or 4 of them, and then he just gas.

    The posts Teddy Povetkin would have beaten Huck and looked much better against Chagaev. Amazing how that quack messed Sacha up.

    Talk about sugarcoating.

    Byrd was faded, barely squeezed by Williamson and got demolished by Wlad.

    Rahman was a corpse.

    Huck was a decent win, one of his best. ATG? No.

    Same goes with Chagaev. Lmao at breaking Marciano's record. Good win, but nothing special.

    Mike Perez was never the same after the incident with Abdusalamov, and he wasn't a top dog regardless, but he was a respectable borderline top 10 guy. Povetkin's finest win, taking into consideration how quick it was.

    Larry Donald was ancient.

    Chambers, good win.

    Takam, good win. LMAO at modern day Tyson.

    Wach is a white Ross Purrity.
