So as the title says, that's what Tony Bellew has said today in an interview with Kugan Cassius, that this card is the best he's seen in 5/10 years Eddie also confirmed that bellew a fight won't be for a world title So my question is with spike vs eubank already confirmed as chief support and bellew not in a world title fight, what on earth is going to make this so special? Hearn who was also in the interview told him not to say who else was on the bill as it's not been announced yet, is this card going to have a couple of surprises on or are matchroom just getting there boys to hype this card so people accept that it's ppv?
Bellew said Mitchell was against a killer, and if it is awaiting sanctioning I guess it would be a very good opponent in a final eliminator. Campbell will be against someone who is a step up too, then some lower level dust ups is what I think will be on the bill.
Matchroom hype. It's a good card and I will be hosting a fight party at my gaff but it's nothing overally special.
Unless they have signed deals for big fights alrwady im place. ...I can see hearn announcing a major fight with a week to go ....thrn announce the ppv at the same time
With such short notice. ...there's onky 2 names I could think woukd take a dangerous fight with kev...for small money...with 4 weeks notice. ....emilano marsili.....and ivan redkach
I think Mitchell will fight Zlaticanin if I had to guess, the guy seems willing to go wherever, been to the UK before and with him saying he is awaiting sanctioning, with Zlaticanin 1 and Mitchell 3 with the WBC it does make sense.
If only a couple of smaller fights get added after bellew, Mitchell and Campbell then this isn't even the best matchroom card this year
Bellew described both opponents as "killers" also in another interview he said his opponent had never been world champ but went very very close to being one
