Is this now a possibility with Wards knee injury?

We all know that Cotto is willing to move up and weight and face great champions when they are seriously injured.... Aren't both fighters signed with Roc Nation?

    This fight should be made!

    No reason not to now!

Not really, Cotto won't even go to 160 to fight GGG. What logic would someone use for him now going to 164 to face Ward, who would be more difficult, and would be harder to sell than GGG. Not to mention Ward has already said making 168 is not healthy for him.

Yes. But GGG doesn't have a knee injury... If he did I'm sure Cotto would reconsider.

Why not it's a match made in heaven? Cotto is the Gammy Knee Assassin and Ward yearns to fight MWs and also SMWs when he campaigns above the SMW limit. It'll be easy to put together given that they both share the same promoter and a match up against the popular Cotto would also afford Andre ''BET'' Ward the opportunity he so desperately craves to headline a PPV event too.

The real intriguing thing about a match up between these two for me is, Cotto has already made history by becoming the first 2 weight Cripple Crushing champion so he'd obviously be doing so yet again if he could pick up a third title in a third weight class against yet another cripple with a gammy knee. That's a record that will never be broken IMO, should Cotto achieve it that is. Team Cotto better get a move on before Ward's gammy knee heals up though.

    Cripple Foreman's belt at 154
    Cripple Sergio's at 160
Cripple Ward's at 164 but the SMW strap will be still on the line

Drozd is recovering from a knee injury too, Cotto could fight him at 176 after Ward.
    The possibilities are endless :nod

 Wlad injured his calf recently too so theoretically, should the stars align for Cotto, he could become the first 5 weight Cripple Crushing Champion in the history of the sport, beating cripples with gammy knees/legs all the way from 154 to HW. :yikes

Cotto also digs the one eyed and the drained ones

he's not limited to fighters with gammy knees

anyone who's severely weakened can get it

    under USADA ofc

If Cotto beats Canelo, he could beat current demoralized Ward at 164. Ward will have a really hard time making 164, and his chin has never been good.

Cotto still won't fight GGG to save his life....he might consider if GGG lost both his legs
