You cant ake the **** out of someone that has become a world champion in their sport IMO. Maybe not the best World champ but still did it and has some good wins. No-one stays in their prime.
Ricky is a perfect example about how dedicating yourself "to the sport of boxing" (copyright Floyd) can take you very far in the sport. He lost a few years ago and nobody would have seen him become a two weight world champion but he's grafted more than most and it paid off. Nobody would argue he was elite but lets give the guy some credit for what he has achieved, his fitness was/is incredible. To last 10 rounds with a broken jaw (the result is irrelevant) and to go 12 with guys like Crawford (performance irrelevant for my point) is testament to the hard work he put in during camps. Guys with twice his ability haven't had half the success he's had so for me he deserves all the praise that comes his way. For anyone to call him a "bum" tells me you are just A: a troll, B: someone's he's leathered, or C: just a complete knob.
