No doubt, almost any fighter hitting flush like Bradley got caught by Vargas would do so. He didn't go down though, so, yeah he was rocked to his boots, but not out. You think Brook wouldn't have been hurt by that punch?

If Porter or Thurman landed a big punch like that on Brook, do you have any more confidence that he could take it than Bradley? If so, based on what?

Yh, Provo, a 140 pounder, Rios a career light weight, , Vargas another 140 pounder. And be aware that these guys did not dominate there divisions below, they were thrown into a big fights against a guy like timbo, without working there way to the top in the welter weight division from the bottom.

Sparkling names don't mean they are better fighters then Matthew hatton, they have yet to prove themselves in the welter weight division .

The only way you can move up and be ranked high enough to earn a fight in my eyes with a top 10 welterweight is if in the lower divisions you beat the number 1 and 2 ranked guys , and show dominance. Vargas and Prov did not do that, so throw em out, Marquez and pacquiao solid wins, but that was a while ago

Marquez dominated, and PAC dominated, hence why Bradley is rated,

But Provo, lost to algeri, got beat by Herrera, he is a gate keeper who was just another titlist, Vargas (yuck, the guy is overrated by top rank , id pick a lot of guys to beat him in the top 10s in welter and light welter)

And a rather large step up, other than Porter.

I just don't see how these guys don't get that.

Would you pick ANY of the guys Brook has fought other than Porter to beat any of the guys you just mentioned?

I really really like Brook and think he's easily in the top 3 Welter's in the world, but right now I think Bradley beats him 115-113 ish in a good technical fight. Brook is skilled enough but Bradley has bags and bags of real world class experience, which I'm afraid, Brook doesn't.

This is the truth, his last opponents , were Rios, Vargas (yuck he would get beat by any of the top welters) chaves

Kell had Frankie Gavin (career welter, who is better then Rios, you may not know him, but i have seen both guys fight, and Gavin is a better fighter, he does not try and block punches with his face, and is quite elusive)
Jo JO Dan, Not a name , but a career welter, (Vargas yuck, a guy moving up for the 1st time from light welter, who has been involved in a series in robberies, and he rocks Timmieh)

Shaun Porter, who Kell beat clearly, and is a better fighter then Chavez, ( the same Chavez that Keith stopped, if Kell stops him too, then writing is on the wall)

Tim is good fighter, don't get me wrong, but he would be a underdog, too small, and strong

    Really close.

I might actually go Brook here.

    Hm.

I like Bradley more but if Brook can connect, Bradley might go down, hard...

Anyone that thinks Bradley stops brook needs to get off this forum, stop smoking and go watch another sport, Bradley has no power.
