is anyone really surprised Smith is facing a nobody. He hasn't fought 1 half decent fighter in his career, keep padding his record because as soon as he gets in with someone proper he will get flopped. FW knows this thats why he is keeping him away from anyone who posed danger,Liam Williams beats him every day of the week, its a farce.
Problem any Boxnation world champion will face is ever getting an opponent who gets paid well as they have low crowds 2-3000 and no ppv stream. I will be surprised if Liam Smith or Terry Flanaghan get more than 40k for their world title fights because of these reasons.
**** poor defence. Big ***** struggling to sell tickets so chucks a Manc in a big fight in.. naturally... does nothing for Smith's progression
I was told weeks ago. Old cliché but this is all about levels, too soon for Kelly his hope is that Liam underestimates him, but he wont. Mid rounds stoppage.
Sure I saw somewhere Flanagan got an insane amount (£200k) for the zepeda fight, then again I've heard smith and fielding got a mill each for last Saturday IMO the drop in steel prices will hurt the BN fighters purses very soon
Let's not forget that Smith was pretty much 'gifted' the title himself... by that I mean who did he fight en route to be worthy of a title shot? what's good for the goose is good for the gander.
