Which heavyweight have ATG jab?

Joe Louis. Larry Holmes had great one too. Louis threw his almost effortlessly, and it jolted guys. Holmes had a hard jab too, but he put his body into it more. Gene Tunney had great jab too.

 

Wlad has probably the hardest jab in history with Lewis. Holmes and Ali had very fast and hard jabs.

Its not Lewis. He was beat badly by Mercer and Mercer outjab him. Not to mention Lewis was 11cm taller and has almost 20cm reach advantage?
Did i need to mention how Klitschko simply destroy Mercer ?
So, No Lewis not have better jab then Wladimir.
Holmes and Klitschko are the best in this.

 

imo lewis didn't use his jab enough and was often lazy with it,,, when he got into trouble he would only then start committing to it and when he did imo it was neck and neck with Vladdy jab. I also think that Vladdy doesn't use his jab enough, lol, however, I admit he uses it more effectively than lewis did overall.

The Mercer that Waldo faced wasn't the same one that Lewis faced, Mercer was in great form vs Lewis.

 

In terms of overall efficiency, Holmes.

Foreman had a long, snappy ramrod jab in his prime. Lewis and Wladimir are in the same bracket.

I agree it's not Lewis, Bruno, Mercer and Vitali were all able to match or even out jab him.

As for Wlad vs Mercer, Mercer was old as hell by the time he faced Wlad that fight in no way proves Wlad's true ability, it's as about as a useful comparison as Lewis beating an old Tyson.

As for Wlad's jab, it's definitely very good combined with Wlad's superior height and reach it makes a formidable weapon. Is it better than Lewis', yes I think it is, Wlad commits to it more and is more consistent with it than Lewis.

But I still rate Ali's and Holmes' jabs as superior to Wlads. But then they lacked his height and reach.

I dont agree at all. After Mercer "loss" to Lewis, to me he win there with 1 point or atleast Lewis get a lucky draw call. Mercer outjab him clearly, while he was a lot smaller and a huge difference in reach.
Anyway after this match Mercer was in 7 consecutive win streak, and 6 of them was by KO. So Klitschko face guy guy who is in good win streak.
And when he face Lewis he come from a draw and lose to Holyfield, that tell the whole story ....
Also Lewis never hurt Mercer, and Klitschko was first to KD him with a punch to the head and was the first to stop him.
And that was not even a prime Wlad ....
Mercer was not finish there, Klitschko make him look like he is done.
I like Lewis i really do and i think he is Top 3 ATG, whatever you look it H2H or as a whole.
I always like fighter like Holmes, Lewis, K2, Joshua and so on.

 

Since losing to Lewis, Mercer fought 7 times in 6 years against non-descript opposition, he was a full-blown alcoholic and had hepatitis. Dude was shot. It was still a great showing by Wlad though. He looked like a machine in there.

 

I'm not his greatest fan but you have to credit Bruno with a tremendous jab, was a real punishing ram rod.
