    1. Rigondeaux
    2. Gonzalez
    3. Lomachenko
    4. Ward
    5. Golovkin
    6. Crawford
    7. Kovalev

I'm keeping Rigo number 1 till he either retires or is beaten. You could indeed make the case that Rigo, Gonzalez, Loma, GGG, and Kovalev are the best 5 fighters today. I obviously slightly favour Ward to beat Kovalev. That a guy might not be as sharp after being inactive might be fair enough reason to not rate him p4p, but I'm giving the fighter's ability the benefit of the doubt, so am assuming Ward's still the guy who beat Edwin Rodriguez.

Wow, lots of guys ranking Kovalev over Golovkin. Kind of surprised, but OK.

    1. Gonzalez
    2. Rigo (severely underrated IMO)
    3. Kovalev
    4. Loma
    5. Gennady

I rate rigo's win over Donaire better than any other win by the other fighters mentioned. Him and Loma have been great to watch since they've been taking on world class level competition from early on in their pro careers.

Kovalev has much better wins on his resume and has seemingly cleaned out his division with the exception of Adonis Stevenson. His wins over Pascal and Hopkins are better than anything on Gennady's resume. It doesn't help GGG that the MW division just isn't that good, I mean 2 of the big name fighters everyone wants to fight don't even campaign at that weight class (Canelo and Cotto.)

Rigondeaux hasn't fought anybody of note since he beat Donaire, two years and a half ago. He hasn't fought in almost a year. As talented as he is, he shouldn't even be considered.

only 9 POsters picked GGG over Kovalev, and those 9 happen to be some of GGGs biggest supporters on a daily basis on here, so i sense alot of biasness from them.. Kova has done way more then GGG and deserves a higher spot P4P.
