Dont get the Frampton hype one little bit. Imo Quigg is several levels better than him, it'll be an easy fight for the Bury man.

That is a very tragic entrance, however what relevance does that have too this fight and how does that decide that Quigg has no chance? Clueless.

Maybe because it is late and i am tired so i am not picking up on it, but, do people actually believe that this is real, as in live at the time? From the multiple angles that didn't show another camera in shot and Quigg entering the building then a second later he is in the room with the crowd, it is clearly pre recorded.

Still, it would have been great if his mum gave him a packed lunch and a kiss goodbye at the door.

 

Going to be a good fight. Can't believe how poor Frampton was last time out and on the basis of their last 2 fights Quigg wins. Frampton won't have the Odyssey crowd behind him and this lack of support showed in the US.

 

Frampton was poor last time out, but it was his first bad outing in a long while. Add in the fact that his opponent was seen as a soft touch for Carl's PBC debut then there is the possibility that Frampton didn't take him serious enough and went out there just wanting to look good in front of the Americans and not concentrate on fighting the right way to beat that particular opponent.

Scott's win against Kiko was impressive, but it was an older and possibly more shop worn Kiko.

It should be a cracking fight, but, I've always felt that Frampton has the style and ability to KO Quigg late or get a UD.

 

Until Quigg vs an admittedly older Kiko and Frampton's disappointment I would have agreed that Frampton should win. It says a lot about the McGuigans that they couldn't get him to concentrate for his US and PBC debut especially in light of CWMs effective collapse.

 

I can see your point, but i learned a long time ago not to base a prediction of a fight on one performance. Especially in this case as Framptom's opponent that night has a different style to Quigg. Add in the fact the age of Frampton. If he was older and had many more fights, then you could look at his last outing as the start of the down slope of his career. He isn't old though so i am more inclined to put it down as a bad day at the office. I am sure he will be more switched on against a better opponent in Quigg and one he has a rivalry with.

It will be a great fight and Scott will give Carl problems, but, i have felt for a few years now that Scott has the potential to be a very good fighter, however, Carl has the potential to be a great fighter.
