Don't think you need one if you have the ancestry and have fought a certain number of times in Europe, fought in a small hall show in Italy about a month ago

That's according to his Wikipedia. Having Italian parents it would be very easy for him to get an Italian passport, which as an EU passport could prove very useful.

He won't be so popular after watching him "fight".He has a horrid style and is basically a shot boxer who can't give it up.

 

Think he fought matthew hatton about 5 years ago.

 

I like Paulie and think he's a great ****yst and commentator but I have absolutely zero interest in seeing him fight again. He was dull to watch in his prime and he's shot to **** now!

 

Good to have him fighting for the EBU title, years ago I read that he wanted to become European champion - that was whilst he was still relevant on the World scene.

And let's be honest, if your fighting in Europe, then Matchroom have the best platform. At least publicity wise.

My only worry is that he would then be lined up to face Brook - who let's be honest would blow him away - he's massive in comparison to Paulie. And Paulie may well of lost those slick reflexes that has seen him get out of jail so many times before, As they say the heart is the last to go...!!
