WBC strips Cotto of middleweight title

Can't reach the WBC site anymore... maybe butthurt PR's have launched a DDOS attack :!:

 

well barcham...before we go jumping the gun here....lets find out whether or not cotto was willing to pay the fees as champ to sanction it

 

I just hope Cotto wins, faces pac or may. Then Golovkin wins title by default...beats Lee or Saunders then vacates all the belts and moves up to smw to face the best there. I think if Canelo wins this will all be drug out. I mean Golovkin will get all the belts so lets just get it over with so he can move up.

 

Goddamnit, now I'll have to pull for Cotto even though I don't like him much at all.

ummm yeah it does make a difference you dolt....because it means simply the wbc decided because cotto didn't pay them they wont let him defend their belt....if he did pay them they would....basically cotto is saying he doesn't care about the belt......

you guys think this is some victory or show of good faith by the wbc...like its a big win for ggg...when in reality its cotto saying he aint paying them and he doesn't care

Wow... I suspect that has either to do with sanction fees, or the new mandatory WADA drug testing policy.

Cotto is such a disgrace and won't face his Mandatory he is being stripped. This looks bad on Cotto and nobody else.

 

Well it shows how brave your idol is that he'd rather vacate his title than face GGG, either way I don't really care, as long as GGG unifies and becomes the rightful champion of the division I'm happy.

 

cotto isn't my idol....im a fan of his and respect him...far from a superfan......

he should never get in the ring with ggg and ive said that for awhile...so basically you are running your yap for nothing

cotto could have waited till after the fight and vacated if he won....he chose not to pay them because hes prob done after this either way
