His career at 140 and 160 are still light years beyond that of GGG's.:deal

His career at 154 and 160 is pathetic compared to GGG. He lost all career defining fights at 154 and haven't fought a healthy middleweight.

I'm pretty sure if Cotto massacred a small village in Puerto Rico, you'd still defend him.

I must say I agree. The WBC claim to be not for profit but expect him to give them 300k. Give over lol.

he doesn't want to pay it on top of the 800k step aside money he's already paid.

    ESPN Article on homesite:

In addition to seeking $300,000 from each fighter in sanctioning fees, the WBC also required $25,000 apiece from the two promoters, Roc Nation Sports and Golden Boy Promotions. When the fight was made part of the deal was that Cotto and Roc Nation had to agree to pay Golovkin - Cotto's mandatory challenger - step-aside money to allow the fight to go through.

According to a source with knowledge of that agreement, Golovkin was paid $800,000, and after having already paid a portion of the step-aside fee, Cotto felt that having to pay another $300,000 to have the WBC sanction the fight was too much.

According to one of the sources, the WBC declined to negotiate a lower sanctioning fee -- something it has often done in megafights involving superstars such as Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya.

He's retiring no matter what happens after Saturday so there's no point holding the title. It's good news though that Alvarez will obtain the title if he wins and the lineal title.

On the other hand, Golovkin can continue to fight tomato cans while begging for a free payday.

What's different now is he finally scored the last major payday and is able to safely retire after it. Who's Gennady "The Tomato Can Destroyer" Golovkin's biggest fight again?, Rubio?. With ret@rded fans like you all over Golovkin, it's hardly surprising he and his team are shameless.

    You are one crybaby b*tch:rofl
Cotto is a f@ggot and 19 days from now, Canelo will seal his f@ggot status when he chooses to duck the WBC MIDDLEWEIGHT mandatory.
