Fury vs Wlad - Two weeks out, make your pick

I'm expecting Fury to run and grab for twelve rounds, or to get sparked completely, or to get himself disqualified. Really can't see him going down in a blaze of glory.

 

Fury wants the fans to make a lot of noise in Dusseldorf, like they did in Hamburg during the Haye "fight".

I remember them being extremely loud for about 4 rounds, and after that reality pretty much sunk in. Then only the few most dedicated continued the racket, while the rest were shouting off and on when they spotted a bit of success.
Don't think Fury is gunning for that.

I tjink fury will win. ...reason being. . That if the Germans give him the victory via split decision...that will break the dduck of it being a biased country boxing wise...that will obviously get other fighters thinking. .if fury can do it..sp can I.....and when the big names come....they will rip them off....weird theory I no...but money talks...if fury won....the ppvbuys for the rematch will be double what this fight will be..... £ first..fans second

I'll be a bit disappointed in Wlad if he doesn't get the stoppage.

 

Anyone that big, strong and powerful has a good chance but technically Wlad is the better boxer. He's getting older now and that chin is always in question. However fighters get in the ring and are shocked by his speed and then can't even remember his power. What gets them most is he has some moves like a small guy so fighters like Haye and Fury who think they have some cute moves get surprised by the footwork and hooking off the jab. Wlad's fault is he often is too passive but no one makes him pay for it. Fury is the type who could make him pay for not being pro-active, but he's also the type to become target practice as a result.

It's an interesting fight. Not a PPV as it's a standard defence. PPV should at least have 2 stars in the main event.

I see it being about 6 - 8 rounds , but he doesn't lose a second of any round.

Weigh in and ring walk will be more exciting.

Quite giddy about Fury winning tonight!!

 

Tyson is the Vitali of Furys.. bigger.. stronger.. bigger doesn't always mean better.. but it's just more of the same.

 

Is it on after the Crolla fight?
