Will Wladimir end up as the greatest HW of all time?

No .sparked by three journey men .didn't beat them in rematchs.who has he beaten?lots of defences v no hopers men who wouldn't get title shots in any other era.A long rein against cr#p .Would any body give fury a chance against Holmes ?no way .that he has a title fight and some people pick him to win shows the weaknesses of the current HW s.mind you I will probably have some tw#t tell me that povetkin or some other waste of time would beat foreman Holmes etc blindfolded with one hand tied behind his back. Still as long as it keeps you lot happy eh.

He is top 5 ATG now. Once retried after a few more wins he will be clearly in the top 3 of all time.

 

of course you would take him once shot retired sanders pasted out wlad in seconds.

and you wouldn't have taken him prior to the event, in any of his better forms.

Viewing Wlad's legacy based on what his opponents go on to accomplish is flawed. He has fought a number of very good fighters and some pretty good ones but when he knocks someone out it's pretty brutal.

Ray Austin was overmatched obviously but I never even heard his name again after he got crushed

Calvin Brock was a top 10 fighter when Wlad separated him from his senses...I don't know if he ever boxed again

now I'm not saying that all of his competition was amazing and he simply retired these guys but there's something to the fact that some of his opponents had promising careers until they got KO'd and not only weren't they the same afterward some retired all together

 

Hard to say at this very moment which is strange since he's near 40.

Giving him the benefit of the doubt I'd rank him in the top ten somewhere ATG heavies. This era is quite bland and weak when compared to some earlier eras (relatively speaking)

One thing I will say is he's an ATG whopper eater, after the Sam Peter fight in Atlantic City years ago I ran into him at a near by Burger King and he devoured 3 double whoppers with cheese like they were Doritos & Mountain Dew and he just smoked a bag of Cali Kush.

 

Nichols would kick his ass.

If we consider last 50 years, Wlad should be in top 10.
