    RIP Champ...Who can forget the savagery of watching Bob Foster knockout unconscious **** Tiger, or Mike Quarry with one left hook. Bob's left hook was one of the most powerful punches in boxing history, pound 4 pound. In the ring he was an intimidating presense. Outside the ring, you wouldn't want to anger Sheriff Bob. One of the greatest Light Heavyweights of all time.

    He's just a tad before my time, but I've educated myself. He's up there with Archie Moore and Spinks and Ezzard in light heavyweight greatness.

    RIP to one of the greatest punchers of all time.

    I am sorry to learn that Bob Foster, an all-time great in the light-heavyweight division and one of the greatest punchers ever, has passed away. What a left-hook he had!
